The Continental Qualification will be carried out based on the ANOC World Beach Games classification system (version September 8, 2022) and the classification regattas are carried out based on the World Rowing Beach Sprint rules.
Each National Federation must bring their oars to training and compete
The Second Coastal America Cup is an event that seeks the dissemination and practice of coastal rowing, which will be present in future Olympic events and is governed by the rules of World Rowing
The event will have the following format:
May 1 to 5 2023 Americas Continental Qualification Regatta (BEACH SPRINTS):
Men and Women C1x, C2x
Mixed C2X
May 7, 2023 ENDURANCE 6K (II COASTAL AMERICA´S CUP):
The crews will carry out a 6-kilometer route around a route of buoys and turning points in the open sea in the bay of Chorrillos in front of the facilities of the event venue (Club de Regatas Lima - Chorrillos headquarters), the competitions will be as follows:
Men and Women C1x, C2x, C4x+
Mixed C2x Y C4X/+
Dia 9 de Mayo 2023 ENDURANCE 23K (II COASTAL AMERICA´S CUP ):
Regatta in the open sea between venues of the Club de Regatas "Lima", starting from the district of La Punta, Callao, covering a distance of 23km through the bay of Chorrillos, to the headquarters of the district of Chorrillos, Lima.
The categories will be the following:
Men and Women C4x/+
Mixed C4x/+
